Amy Brown, Founder of Phoenix Brand Strategy

I’m a global brand strategist with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for the art of reinvention and storytelling, and over a decade of experience building and leading award-winning teams at Ogilvy and Iris Worldwide on both sides of the Atlantic.

I have developed strategies on behalf of brands like Maxi-Cosi, Ella’s Kitchen, Staples Solutions, EUROSPORT, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, DuPont, Glenmorangie, HEINEKEN, Barclaycard, Philips and Durex, while picking up ADDY, WEBBY, OMMA and Clio awards along the way.

After working across different sectors all over the world, I launched Phoenix in January 2019 to dedicate my energy to a puzzle I love - the art of managing brand meaning in a constantly changing world.

I could go on but I’d rather let other people’s words and the work itself do the talking…

I’m always thrilled to collaborate with her because of how admirably she blends the analytical and creative minds. Her briefs are brilliant and she seeds our creative work with many ideas to keep us on the right path. And she smiles a lot.
— Jose Salméron, ECD, colleague at Ogilvy Washington

She is really great at working with clients to take a risk or go outside of their comfort zone, tying all strategies and tactics back to business goals and measurable metrics of success.
— Adrienne Polk, Head of Operations, Brand, at Meetup (a WeWork company)

l can truly say she is one of the smartest people I have ever worked with and has made such an impact and impression on my career, and the way I approach strategic communications. If you have the chance to work with her in any capacity, you are one of the lucky ones!
— Madeline Sanchez, Content & Social at General Mills
